About Concussion Baseline Testing
Ascension Wisconsin Sports Medicine offers a baseline concussion test for athletes. These tests are done before the sports season to establish a baseline, “or normal,” cognitive and motor score for your child(ren).
**A parent must be present for his/her child's testing session, and MUST bring his/her cellular phone as it will be used during the concussion baseline testing process.
The concussion baseline testing takes approximately 15 - 30 minutes. Please have the athlete or parent bring a cell phone that is able to download the Sportgait Mobile app. If you are able to download the app prior to arrival, please do so. Please do not need enter an email, password or set up an account, a code will be given to you on arrival. Make sure that the cell phone is charged prior to the baseline test.
If the student/athlete does not show for their registered date, they will need to re-register and pay again for another test date. Only exception is if they contact the administrator prior to the test date to switch their original test date/time for a different date or time. Do not show up to testing site after your scheduled time, as testing may be concluded and you may not be able to complete concussion baseline test at that time.
